The studio has been thoughtfully updated to blend the property's original 1940s plantation character with the modern comforts you actually need. Air conditioning, a well-equipped kitchenette, private bathroom, and a comfortable sleeping area are all here. The layout is efficient and practical for two, and the lanai extends your living space considerably — transforming the cottage from a compact studio into something that genuinely feels like a home.
As with every unit at Fern Grotto Inn, Canal B guests have full access to complimentary kayaks, stand-up paddleboards, bicycles, snorkeling gear, beach chairs, and beach towels. The Wailua River is steps away — launch point for the Secret Falls kayak trip and a leisurely paddle to the famous Fern Grotto lava cave. Wailua Beach is one block on foot.
